Final Round

THE FINAL ROUND and what a round it proved to be with so many teams vying for different positions in the top eight or the top four and nothing confirmed until after the final siren went. The tipping also proved very exciting right through to the last minutes. No one selected 9/9 but four people did score 8/9 – Mary Carr, Fran Chamberlain, Mark Chamberlain and Mike O’Rafferty. Great finish folks.

With our top tipsters, we had mixed results this round with some going up and others going down.

It finished with Fran Chamberlain topping the ladder this year on a fantastic score of 141 and collecting $250-00. In the second position on 138 is Mike O’Rafferty who collects $175-00. Mike selected 8/9 for both the final two rounds so obviously saved his best till last. Just one game behind Mike on 137 is Natasha Wilson who collects $125-00.  That is some great tipping right through the year and we congratulate all of you. As there was no winner of the $40-00 jackpot, this is shared by Danika Squiers and the Tennis Club who both received $20-00. Danika finished in the 49th position.

A total of $1,450-00 was shared by 17 people over the season so well done to those people.

We raised $580-00 for the tennis club thanks to your participation.
