Round 21

OUR ROUND 21 once again proving difficult to select winners with most people missing Pt Adelaide, Western Bulldogs and Hawthorn all having a win. No one selected the perfect 9 with our top score being 7/9 and only three people achieving that – David Kitto, Fay Kitto and Mike O’Rafferty.

We now have just one person at the top of the leaders board – Natasha Wilson on 114 – well done Natasha. One game behind Natasha on 113 are
Shirley Christie, Don Doig, Mike O’Rafferty and RAT. On 112 is Mark Chamberlain and on 111 we have Mike Concannon, T& M O’Reilly, Mark Rule
and Lena Wilkinson.

With no winner this week, our jackpot jumps to the huge amount of $280-00 so keep those fingers crossed that you made some good decisions
back in March.

Good Luck Everyone

Round 17

Hi Everyone,

Attached is the up-to-date tipping from the last two weeks. Neither week gave us a winner so next week we have $160-00 in the jackpot.

This week, we had six people select 8/9 – all missing the same game – Essendon defeating Collingwood – Roger Hooper, Mike Kessell, RAT, Kylie Squiers, Lena Wilkinson and Natasha Wilson. Great Tipping, folks.

With our leader’s ladder, we have 8 people within 3 points of each other. Don Doig leads the way on 97. He leads Shirley Christie and Natasha Wilson who are both on 96, followed by Faye Scorer on 95, while on 94 we have Mark Chamberelain, T & M O’Reilly, RAT, and Lena Wilkinson.

Good Luck everyone for the $160-00 jackpot next round.

Round 16

We did not have a winner this week, and we have a new solo leader – Mark Chamberlain, who is on 85, followed by Don Doig on
84 and on 83 we have Shirley Christie and Faye Scorer.

Next week our jackpot is worth $80-00…

Over the next 3-4 weeks you may get results at different times and also possibly even a fortnight apart but by the end of July things should have been cleared and I am back to normal results. Hope your teams have some good wins and everyone stays healthy

Thanks for your patience

Round 15

ROUND 15 gave us only six games to select winners and take a part of our jackpot. This still appeared to be very hard BUT one person was clever enough to achieve this. Carolyn Steele showed us all how to do this and for her effort, Carolyn wins our entire jackpot of $160-00 this weekend. Well Done Carolyn! We had six people with 5/6, just falling short.

We also have a change at the top of our leader’s board. We now have two joint leaders on a fantastic score of 80 – Mark Chamberlain and Don Doig. Just one game behind them is ANZACS on 79, whilst on 78, we have Shirley Christie, Greg Harper, Faye Scorer and Natasha Wilson. Good consistent tipping to all of you.

Next weekend is the last of our “Bye” rounds with only six games to correctly select but with Carolyn taking our the jackpot this week, we return to $40-00 in the pot for the winner/s

Good luck everyone.

Round 13

ROUND 13 again proved difficult to pick a winner. With the “Bye” rounds, most teams seem to have difficulty winning after a week off, so this might have effected our tipping. Again we had some very close games that could have gone either way with four of the eight games having final margins of less than 10 points. After the first two games on Thursday and Friday nights no one was sitting on 2/2.  This obviouly means we did not have a winner this week BUT we did have two people who selected 7/8. This great tipping was achieved by Helen Doig and Stella Squiers – well done ladies.

Our leader board is getting closer with several people closing the gap behind out leader  –  ANZACS who moves up to 76 with very consistant tipping but is now only one game clear. On 75 we have Mark Chamberlain, Don Doig and Faye Scorer with just one game further back on 74 are T & M O’Reilly, RAT, Nola Wilson and Natasha Wilson. We have now reached the half way mark in the season so from here on, it is a dash to the
finishing line so good luck to everyone.

Next weekend we only have 6 games where we made our selection so fingers crossed we may have a winner or two to share our jackpot which rises to $160-00.

Cheers

Round 13

ROUND 13, and we only had seven games to select winners, but what a huge problem that still created. After the Thursday and Friday night games, most of us were sitting on 0/2, and it didn’t get any easier with the highest score this week being 5/7. One person achieved this – Margaret Whittington so well done Margaret.

The leader board hasn’t changed too much where we have 11 people within two points of each other. ANZACS still retain the lead and are now on 72 with a two game lead. On 70 are Fran Chamberlain, Mark Chamberlain, Don Doig and T & M O’Reilly followed just one game further back on 69 are Shirley Christie, Mike Concannon, Greg Harper, Faye Scorer, Natasha Wilson and Nola Wilson.

With no winner again this week, next week with just 8 games to select, our jackpot hits $120-00 so good luck to everyone and their favourite footy teams.

Round 11

ROUND 11 gave us yet ANOTHER drawn game, making it the third for the season, meaning that we only had to select 8 winners, but once again
none one managed this feat.

We had three people with 8/9 this week, and we say well done to Mike Concannon, Gail Harper and our international tipster in London – Roger
Hooper.

Our leader – ANZACS increase their lead with a score of 69. Two points back on 67 are Don Doig, Greg Harper and T & M O’Reilly. One game
further back are Fran Chamberlain, Mark Chamberlain, Natasha Wilson and Nola Wilson. Well done everyone.

With no winner this week, our jackpot next week is $80-00, so good luck, folks.

Round 10

ROUND 10 gave us some good tipping results even though two games were won by 4 points or less. There has now been a bit of a shuffle on our leaders board, but first, who were our best tipsters this week?

On a great score of 8/9 we had David Kitto, Pam Northcott, SKID, and Pam Zscharnagk, BUT two ladies went one better and had the perfect score of 9/9. This week we congratulate Lois Reid and Faye Scorer for their excellent tipping and they share the jackpot of $120-00, winning $60-00 each. Well Done!!

ANZACS remains our leader, and now on 62, is good consistent tipping. T & M O’Reilly moves into second place on 61, and we have a few new people moving into equal third on a score of 60: Fran Chamberlain, Shirley Christie, Don Doig, Greg Harper, Andrew Mitchell, Natasha Wilson, and Nola Wilson. This gives us 9 people separated by 2 points or less, which is very exciting.

With Lois and Faye taking out the jackpot, next week, we have another $40-00 up for the offering, so good luck to everyone.

CHRIS & NOLA WILSON

Round 9

ROUND 9 once again gave us some very close results that could have gone either way and changed the tipping results quite dramatically. Three games were decided by a goal or less and the last game of the round ended in a drawn game. No one selected 9/9, but we did have three people with 7/9 – Mike Kessell, Margaret Kitto and Michael Spadanuda. That’s great tipping.

We now have just one person at the top of our ladder on the great score of 56 – ANZACS. Once again some very consistant tipping. Just one game further back on 55 are Fran Chamberlain, Shirley Christie, Greg Harper and Natasha Wilson, with another three people sitting on 54.

With no winner this week our jackpot continues to rise and next week is now worth $120-00.

Good Luck everyone

CHRIS & NOLA WILSON

Round 8

ROUND 8 gave us some good tipping, with one game being an upset for most of us—Hawthorn beating Brisbane!

We did not have a winner this week, but two people selected 8/9—Fran Chamberlain and Don Doig. Great tipping to you both.

It is starting to become a bit crowded at the top of our leaders’ board as we have 12 people within 2 points of each other. On a score of 50 are our leaders – ANZACS, Fran Chamberlain, Shirley Christie and Greg Harper – followed on 49 by Colin Matthews, Andrew Mitchell and Natasha Wilson with another 5 people on 48. That is some great tipping by everyone.

With no winner this week, our Jackpot for next week is $80-00, so good luck, everyone.
