This week gave us some good results with one person just 39 seconds away from taking out our jackpot…
Mike Kessell scored 8/9 and missed St Kilda beating Fremantle by kicking a goal 39 seconds before the final siren. Bad luck Mike, but great tipping anyway.
Mike Eames #2 remains our leader and is on a score of 116. In second place on 114 is Denise Pruim, followed by Greg Harper and Natasha Wilson both on 113, then on 112 we have Betty Hanley, Gail Harper and G F Peacock.
With just two weeks to go it would be hard for anyone outside this group to win our competition, but then, funnier things have happened.
With no winner again this week our jackpot hits a record high of $320-00 for next week. Keeping in mind that if the jackpot is not won on the LAST week, whatever the jackpot is worth is paid to the person at “the Other” end of our ladder. Currently sitting on 89 we have Evan Reid, followed by Della Chamberlain on 91 and Danika Squiers on 94. We would imagine that Evan would have his fingers crossed at this stage.
