What a great spectacle Adelaide puts on with the Gather Round once again. Just a pity about the weather this year, but then, it is a winter sport.
There were some good games this year but also some big margins at the same time. Only one game out of the nine had a winning margin of less than 25 points. This might have made it easier to pick winners. Although no one selected 9/9, we did have five people with 8/9, and four of them missed the same game – the last game of the round so four of them were on 8/8. These great tipsters this week are Shirley Christie, Steve Doig, Tauel Harper, Colin Matthews and SKID. Well done.
We now have joint ladder leaders with Helen Doig and Chris Wilson both on 33, leading the pack by two games. On 31 we have Fran Chamberlain, Mick Concannon and Greg Harper, whilst just one game further back are SKID and Natasha Wilson.
