Membership

Everyone is welcome at Melville Palmyra Tennis Club.

Membership options are outlined below.

We encourage prospective new members to visit the club and enjoy a free visitor day of tennis or a free one-hour of Padel before committing to membership.

Memberships can be purchased through the Club Spark website.

All memberships (excluding Adult Social and Adult/Junior Pennant) include the following benefits:

  • Free court hires on grass courts 7:00 am – 6:00 pm (subject to season and availability)
  • Free court hires on hard courts from 6:00 am. – 6:00 pm; reduced rates after 6 pm. (subject to season and availability)
  • Social tennis matchplay Tuesday – Friday and Sunday
  • Friday Twilight Tennis – scheduled periodically throughout the summer months
  • One 30-minute private lesson with the club coach, Tennis Excellence
  • Social events
  • Eligibility to participate in all club tournaments

FEES

Adult Membership

$405.00 in full (via bank transfer)
$37.00/mo. or $420.00 in full with a credit card Join

For those players aged 26 to 66 years of age committed to a full season of play. Membership is paid in full for a 12-month period commencing the month of the first payment. There is no cancellation, and membership is non-transferable.

Eligibility: Shall be a person aged 26 to 66 years as of the first day of July of the current year.

Senior Adult Membership

$365.00 in full (via bank transfer)
$33.00/mo. or $380.00 in full with a credit card Join

For those senior adult players who prefer to use a credit card for payment, either in 1 or 12-month instalments. Membership commitment is for one year (12 months) commencing the data of the first payment. There is no cancellation, and membership is non-transferable. The price includes credit card fees.

Young Adult/Student Membership

$260 Join

For those aged 19 to 25 years of age committed to a full season of play. Membership is paid in full for a 12-month period commencing the month of the first payment. There is no cancellation, and membership is non-transferable.

Eligibility: Shall be a person aged 19 to 25 years as of the first day of July of the current year.

Family Membership

$770 Join

For families with one or two adult players and up to three junior players under the age of 19 years; or married partners aged 26 to 66 years of age with no children committed to a full season of play. Membership is paid in full for a 12-month period commencing the month of the first payment. There is no cancellation, and memberships are non-transferable.

Junior Membership

$110 Join

For junior players aged 18 years and under committed to a full season of play. Membership is paid in full for a 12-month period commencing the month of the first payment. There is no cancellation, and membership is non-transferable.

Eligibility: Shall be a person aged 18 years and under as of the first day of July of the current year.

FIFO Membership

$290 Join

For those players planning to use the club facilities on a rotating basis throughout the year. Membership is paid in full for a 12-month period commencing the month of the first payment. There is no cancellation, and membership is non-transferable.

Eligibility: must be a FIFO worker.

Adult Pennant Membership

$200 Join

Available to players who are members of another club but wish to play Pennants for MPTC. Membership is for one year of the Pennant season. Free booking of grass courts during the season and hard courts all year (lighting charge only) for Pennant practice only. Please contact the Tennis Activities director for Pennant play and season information.

Junior Pennant Membership

$20.00 Join

Available to junior players who are members of another club but wish to play Pennants for MPTC. Membership is for one year of the Pennant season. Free booking of grass courts during the season and hard courts all year (lighting charge only) for Pennant practice only and with adult supervision. Please contact the Tennis Activities director for Pennant play and season information.

Overseas Membership Credit Card

$105 in full Join

For adults having their ordinary place of residence more than 50 kilometres from the General Post Office Perth and are committed to three or fewer months of play a season. Membership is paid in full and is valid for three months in a season.  There is no cancellation and membership is non-transferable.

Eligibility: Must provide proof of residency.

Adult Social Membership

$30 Join

For adults who prefer not to play but want to attend on a social basis. Membership is paid in full for a 12-month period commencing the month of the first payment. There is no cancellation, and membership is non-transferable.

Padel membership

$60/mo Join

Membership is through Padel West and does not include the use of tennis courts.
